CUPA is . .

CUPA is the Chicago chapter of the UPA. Our mission is to provide networking and learning opportunities for those who advocate the development of usable products in the Chicago area. We place an emphasis on “Usability in Practice”, and focus our events on people, labs, organizations and practitioners that are local to the Chicago community. In addition, we like events that “push” the boundaries of traditional usability practices, in efforts to inspire creativity in the work of the attendees.

World Usability Day

The focus for World Usability Day 2007, internationally as well as in Chicago, is healthcare. Whether it's new medical devices or technologies; drug research, approval, or delivery; patient forms or medical record sharing; emergency disaster planning; increasing the functionality of hospitals; or everyday healthcare delivery, everyone is affected by usability in healthcare.

World Usability Day is November 8th. Register by November 1st.
